Absolutely delicious wood fired pizza served fresh and fast.

The prosciutto pizza is amazing! The margherita is also an excellent choice. This place has excellent service and I’m excited to return!

The pizza and salad was so good and fresh. I cannot wait to go back and try the chicken.

This is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in San Francisco. The prosciutto pizza is SO GOOD. I love how the dough tastes incredibly fresh and fluffy and the freshly grated, thick slices of parmesan on top is insane. Melts in your mouth! The burrata dish was also fantastic!

Top 3 pizza is SF. I’m not sure where this one ranks of the three. But one of them for sure. Roma salad is great.

They say that sometimes you have to travel outside of Italy to get a decent pizza. We'll, in this case it's quite true! Very nice one, tasty, good size and well cooked. I appreciated the unusual topping with mortadella and pistachio. All in a cozy and easy going atmosphere. Recommended for a quick and informal meal with friends!

This is the place I go when I'm in San Francisco. Their pizza reminds me of what I had in Italy. I went to NYC but their pizza is not the same, too Americanized. This is the best pizza outside Italy, hand down.

Wow. Great, no wait, GREAT pizza. Absolutely authentic italian experience. I can totally reccomend the place. I will definitely be back for lasagnas!

If you want great authentic Italian I highly recommend this place. The lasagna was outstanding and the pizza was excellent. A few tips...Sit at the bar so you can see the pizza being made fresh. Also get there early it does get very busy but it’s worth the wait.

Cute little quaint restaurant. They're known for their chiopinno in red sauce. Super bomb. Tons of mini crab, mussels, clam, & calamari! Pricey but one chiopinno is for 2 people at $40. Very limited outdoor space

This place was awesome. We passed by after a show, saw some empty tables and walked in. The food was soooooo good! Where do they get their olive oil?? And the service was impeccable. Seriously, I've never seen service that was this perfect mix of attentive yet subtle. I would definitely go back.

Really good thin crust pizza. Tasty and light dough

Modern but very good Italian restaurant in North Beach. Pizzas killer, and I LOVED the homemade mozzarella.

This is by far my favorite pizzaria in the Bay Area. Their flavors are authentic, the vibe of the place is awesome, and the pizza tastes like it did back in Italy. Definitely a great date night spot!

Nothing is better than wood fired pizza, especially when the ingredients are as fresh as they are here. I live across town and come here often, That's how good the pizza is.

The pizza is DELICIOUS!! And the other dishes looked great too. Busy, informal, friendly staff and feeling authentic Italian (I've been to Italy a lot). Relatively cheap for SF. Can't wait to go back and try the Calzone and meatballs.

Love this place!! Everything here is fresh and delicious! The burrata cheese is certainly a favorite. Pair it with a choice of sliced meat or 2 -- and some olives; you can't go wrong. The pizza is to die for!! Fun atmosphere, great staff -- we will return here for years to come

Probably one of the best pizza places in town, or at least I wasn't able to find a better one yet. Not from a lack of trying, mind you!Straight to the point - If you like tuna on your pizza, you MUST have the Tonno & Cipolla Pizza and add anchovies. The Prosciutto Pizza is excellent if tuna is not your thing. The best part and one that this place excels at - The dough. It's just right. Not too crusty like the New York style, but also not too puffy like say... Dominos. The service is quick, not really welcoming, but who cares. The pizza is worth it.

Very good pizza. The crust was done just right. It was open late so I thought it was a good opportunity to try it out. And even though I and my wife were the only ones in there (at closing) we didnt feel rushed or hurried. The staff was polite and the restaurant was clean.

This spot was perfect in everything. Absolutely not recognizable from the outside. The service was at an perfect point and the food was amazing.

This was my second time at Il Casaro Pizzeria with my Italian fiancé. The restaurant offers one of the best pizza spots in San Francisco. This is one of the few spots where you can experience a true, authentic napoletana pizza. The ingredients are quality, but overall the prices are expensive. Each pizza has a good taste, but the crust came out a little burnt. The carbon (black) that is on the crust isn't good for your health.

Fantastic Burrata and Pizza. I recommend! The atmosphere is also very nice whether you come alone or with friends

Love this place. Ask them to bake the pizzas a little longer so it's a bit crispier though.

Quick service, great pizza 🙌ðŸ¾

Good good. Cute spot Reasonable prices

At last, the most accurate Italian pizzas. They aren't fully Italian, but for SF, the most accurate for sure.

Oh wow! Pretty amazing pizza and Italian snacks in a small unassuming location. The pizzas are simple and to the point. Get a seat at the counter and watch them toss the pizzas, then put them in the wood oven for a couple minutes! Tip - the house red wine goes really well with the food. No need for anything else.

Loved our dinner here last night... worth it..

Casaro spot for dinner. Ambiance, drinks and food were incredible. We had the burrada (a MUST!), cauliflower (delicious), meatball (delicious) and mushroom pizza. What a treat ! Vibe is great and everything is super fresh.

Best pizza lasagna also great too

I read the reviews and had this place personally recommended by a friend. The pizza looked like heaven... but it was so SOGGY. It was like eating a wet sponge with really great toppings. And then the service was non-existent. 😫

Recommended by local. Lovely place with decent food. The best pizza place you should definitely visit! ( i LOVED the calamari-zuccini-carrot stick! Can’t remember its name..)

Great serviceFood is just okay. I'm really unsure how this place has such right ratings. But I'm unsure how a lot of places in sf has such high ratings. Lasagna came out warm as well.

Great place for pizza. You can see the oven from the restaurant (also shown in the picture). The pizza has a reasonably thin crust and is cooked to perfection. The toppings were of good quality. Il Casaro Pizzeria has a good selections of wine. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. I would go there again.

This place is great for an amazing pizza and a glass of wine! I really had a great experience and did not have any complaints. The restraunt is a bit small, but nothing far from the usual from this strip of San Francisco.
Margaret T. Powers
Fantastic cocktails and food. Love the place and go frequently. Can be loud, however, and at times take a while to get a table. Service makes up for it when you finally do .

We went for a late lunch, the place was quiet. The food was very nice, you can tell the pizza dough is fresh and also the ingredients. The pizza with nútrela and van a it is a super nice treat as a desert! Also the toilets were very clean. They also have high chairs for baby which is good to know if you want to eat at this this establishment and bring your baby.

My favorite restaurant in San Francisco! Authentic, Neapolitan-style pizza, fresh ingredients, tasty, fast and cheerful service. We will return when next in town!

Love this place. We did not have any reservations on a Saturday and the host was nice enough to make roof and fit us in. Every other pace gave me a attitude and laughed when i told them i did not have any reservations.I would suggest the meat and cheese appetizers. The margarita pizza was also amazing. I came back with my entire family a month later and it was even better.Best pizza in town.Best service !!!!Amazing host!!Give this place a try.

Great pizza, but sides were better. Busy as hell.

Margherita pizza is perfect. So delicious. I also got the grilled cauliflower with capers. Good. A lot for one person. A little spicy but worth trying.
Kyle White
New favorite pizza place in SF. When we arrived there were many Italians who live in SF around us, it was a good sign. The Margarita was perfection! My wife never eats the crust and she devoured it. The mozzarella sticks were great, and the service was excellent. Great little hip joint that made us food like we were visiting Florence again.

Nice spot in north beach. They have a nice brick oven coal pizza. Went for lunch and ordered the basic margherita pizza. It was decent. Flavors were good, fresh ingredients but pizza was soggy and crust was a bit gooey, not crisp except for edges. Probably would go back if I’m in neighborhood but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.
Peters Gisselere
Really good addition. I feel the lasagna itself needed more of a flavor upgrade. Toramissu was yum and the bread on point
Samantha Berg
Really enjoyed this spot. Casual but cozy, tasty Italian style pizzas. So many chili options!
Sara Khosravinasr
My all time favorite. The best pizza place in SF. Make sure to try the Mortadella pizza and prosciutto pizza 😋😋

Legit and authentic pizza. Although it does get hot in this place and the only air was an open window. The salad was great, meatballs fantastic, and the roasted cauliflower to die for. Decent prices and a nice selection of wine.
Antonio Moore
This my favorite place to get authentic Italian pizza. Fresh and high quality ingredients with an environment that had swag. :)

Fav restaurant in SF. Such amazing pizza, fresh ingredients, lovely decor, heaps of authentic Parmesan. Y’all are perfect, keep doing you. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Margherita pizza was good.Roasted calamari appetizer was sad. Perhaps two ounces of calamari on two tiny little skewers with some zucchini. Can of Diet Coke met expectations.Service was acceptable, but the credit card reader was out of order so cash only. All in all, the experience was a bit disappointing. I had much higher hopes for the calamari. There are some other fantastic calamari options within 200 yards of this restaurant.
